In life doing things which bring us joy like playing any sports or playing games keeps us motivated but when it comes to studies or any other thing which seems to bore us then we find a source of motivation.

Let us start by knowing our self.

When students of ages 16-18 years were asked about their dreams for the future, around 80% of them had desired to be famous,  have money, cars, properties, and much more. When these same students got old they realized that useful contributions to someone gave them self-satisfaction and joy. The money, wealth, stardom didn't even matter to them.

The deepest desire is survival and evolution. Adding some values to others will give us immense joy.
An unburnt Candle Lamp cannot burn other candle lamps. If you want to give light to others then you should glow yourself.  But for helping others we should not be in a situation where our survival is a big question mark

In sports, it is a do and die situation either you have to win or lose the game. However, in normal life it is not. We have to apply the same mentality during the game in our real lives.
